Why Wrestling?

It seems silly to some people for someone to write about something that seems pointless in the long run, it doesn't affect anything in the universe of the WWE so why not write about something else? I could write about my car, my cooking, my CVS (Cyclical Vomiting Syndrome), or anything under the sun, including the sun, but none of them are more connected to me more personally than my love for wrestling and my passion for creative writing. The reason I love to write these articles so much is because I get to flesh out my own ideas and other people get to read a fresh and original story that could potentially happen in the WWE and how cool would that be? Another reason why I want to write these articles is because my dream job would be to write for the WWE but it seems like such a far off, shooting for the stars, type of job so right now this blog is the closest I can get to my dream. A blog makes it so much easier to tell people what I'm thinking from the comfort of my own home especially with my syndrome always lingering in the background, but this isn't what I want my blogs, or my life for that matter, to be about so anything that happens in my real life won't be part of any of my blogs. In essence I am finally doing something I could see myself doing forever and can get feedback from fans enjoying my insight or angry readers calling me an idiot, but that's what I look forward to the most. Some of my former work is a little rough but I look forward to some day going back into it and fixing it up so it's more enjoyable to read. Since writing is something I enjoy it makes me really happy that I get to do it as part of my college experience while getting to do it for fun at the same time.

So back to my main point of Why Wrestling: it isn't just something to write about but an escape from the real world. When I create a match, story line, or just write my opinion it's my way of stepping out of reality for a minute and doing something that isn't weighed down by politics or finances. I'm excited to share my thoughts and ideas with people around the world or right here in Michigan.
