This is dubbed an All-Star Armageddon Hell in a Cell match between the six best superstars to ever step inside the cell. Along with being the best inside the cell, these are six of the most ruthless and dangerous wrestlers in the WWE. It’s every man for himself but there’s history between all of them that could potentially create some temporary alliances. Both members of D-Generation X and three of the four members of Evolution are in the match as well.

Once the cage was lowered it was very clear that the former members of Evolution would be working together. Triple H and Shawn Michaels squared off, Batista and Brock Lesnar went through the ropes, and Randy Orton jumped The Undertaker from behind when Taker tried helping out Michaels. Batista quickly grabbed a chair and began slaughtering Lesnar with it then rushed back into the ring to hit both Triple H and Orton with the same chair. Taker, Michaels, and Lesnar stare down each other deciding what to do and they decide to create an alliance to take out Evolution so they can have a better chance of winning.

Taker takes Orton to the outside of the ring and begins brawling with him. Michaels takes on his former DX member, and best friend, Triple H inside the ring while Batista attacks Lesnar from behind and throws him through a table he had set up while everything else was going on inside the ring. Taker leaves Orton to double team Batista with Lesnar and the two throw Batista so hard into the cell it breaks, sending Batista flying into the barricade. The action stops for a few seconds while all the remaining superstars look at the hole in the cell then they go back to fighting. Lesnar pulls a chair out from underneath the ring and double crosses Taker by beating him in the back until Taker collapses to the floor in a heap.

Orton hits an RKO out of nowhere on Michaels in the ring then turns his attention to Lesnar outside the ring leaving Triple H all alone in the ring with an unconscious Michaels so he tries going for a pinfall but Orton quickly breaks the count once he realized what Triple H was doing. The two argue for a minute before being clotheslined by Lesnar and thrown out of the ring so Lesnar could try to pin Michaels himself but Michaels kicks out. Taker drags himself through the opening in the cell to confront Batista but Batista, who had more time to recover, power bombed Taker through the Spanish announce table then taunted Lesnar to follow him up the side of the cell and begins to climb. Lesnar isn’t far behind with Orton and Triple H right behind him. When all four get to the top, Lesnar figures out the numbers aren’t in his favor and begins throwing himself at all three members of Evolution.

Michaels and Taker begin setting up tables inside the ring, anticipating at least one person to be coming through the roof eventually but they didn't expect Lesnar to suplex Triple H through the cell so soon and Triple H falls on top of both men in the ring leaving a pile of superstars. Lesnar is beaten down by Orton and Batista then thrown through the hole Lesnar had made earlier but he crashes through the tables leaving Orton and Batista left standing. Orton goes for an RKO on Batista but he's caught mid air and thrown through another part of the cell going through the ring leaving a huge hole on the middle of the ring. Batista makes his decent to the floor and takes a minute to recover before heading back into the cell.

Batista gets into the ring where Triple H and Michaels have formed an alliance and attack Batista with pieces of broken table until Taker tries to intervene and is assaulted by the former DX members. When Batista and Taker are kicked out of the ring Triple H goes to double cross Michaels but is caught by a huge Sweet Chin Music (SCM) from Michaels and is almost pinned before Lesnar dead lifts Michaels off of Triple H and suplexes him over the top ropes and into the cage. Lesnar picks up the limp Triple H and delivers an F-5 then goes for the pin but Orton pulls himself out of the hole he made in the ring and stops the count at two and a half. Lesnar, in a fit of rage, Takes Orton and F-5's him back into the hole in the ring then goes back to Triple H, who has dragged himself to a corner. Lesnar sees Triple H pointing behind him so he turns around to be Speared by Batista then Batista Bombed. Taker breaks up the count and gives Batista a Choke Slam and Triple H a Tombstone Piledriver but Michaels pulls Batista out of the ring and gets into the ring to face Taker in the middle of the ring.

With everyone else down and out The Undertaker and Shawn Michaels square off in the ring, exchanging plows and revers each others finishing moves. Lesnar and Batista pull out more tables then, together, they Power Bomb Triple H through all of the tables. Both men storm the ring attacking Taker and Michaels who were winded from fighting each other. Michaels catches Batista with Sweet Chin Music then Lesnar grabs Batista and hits an F-5 sending him out of the ring to the floor. Lesnar turns around to find himself in a 2 on 1 predicament against Michaels and Taker.

Lesnar is brought down to his knees after numerous jabs from Taker and a SCM from Michaels. Taker pulls Lesnar to his feet and delivers a Tomb Stone Piledriver and goes for a pin but is hit by a SCM sending him out of the ring. Michaels goes for the cover on Lesnar but Lesnar kicks out. Michaels can't believe he didn't win and in a daze turns around and is given an RKO out of no where for his troubles by Orton, who goes for a pin but Michaels kicks out. Taker and Batista start brawling outside the ring until Orton throws Michaels through the ropes into the two men leaving a heap of superstars on the floor. Triple H Pedigrees Orton and is grabbed from behind by Lesnar and given five suplexes in a row before rolling out of the ring to the floor.

Alone in the ring, with everyone else recovering on the outside, Lesnar smiles and begins taunting everyone on the outside so Batista, Michaels, and Taker all get into the ring followed by Triple H and Orton who sit in the corners. Seeing both Orton and Triple H in the corners still trying to recuperate, Taker and Michaels go to the side of Lesnar leaving Batista by himself. Lesnar squares off with Batista, Taker starts delivering blows to Orton, and Michaels gives Triple H a super kick then helps Lesnar take out Batista. Lesnar holds Batista still and Michaels 'warms up the band' but when he goes for the SCM Batista breaks free and Michaels hits Lesnar sending him flying over the top rope. Batista bounces off the ropes and delivers a huge Spear to Michaels and mud stomps him out of the ring then turns around to receive a huge RKO from Orton.

Orton begins taunting Taker but when he goes for another RKO he is caught and given a Tomb Stone Piledriver. Taker covers Orton in the middle of the ring and wins the match. With carnage all over the outside of the ring, and superstars beaten and bruised sprawled out on the floor, The Undertaker stands victorious as the lone survivor inside Hell in a Cell.
